Severe Weather Voluntary Restrictions Lifted

The voluntary restrictions on waterfowl that commenced on Sunday 10th January 2010 has now been  lifted. As an affilated Association we have adopted the voluntary code removing all waterfowl including waders (Golden Plover, Woodcock and Common Snipe) from the quarry species list from the 11th day of sub-zero temperatures.

The mandatory national restriction issued by DEFRA on the 15th day of sub-zero temperatures did not come into force.
