The Romney Marsh Association for Shooting and Conservation (RMASC) is a small, friendly association founded in 1963 based in South Kent.
The Association prides itself on placing as much emphasis on the conservation elements of our activities as on shooting opportunities. We are committed to conservation work in all areas of habitat management and are involved at every level from work parties tasked with pond clearance and woodland management to strategic placement of nest boxes assisting and promoting the local owl population
We currently lease approximately 800 acres of mixed arable farmland and woodland providing a diverse range of shooting opportunities to our members.
The Association also has an active social side and we run a regular clay shoot which is open to all members and their guests. Our other activities include deep sea fishing on the English Channel.
Despite our small size, we operate on a very professional basis and provide the following assurances:
All our members are fully insured via the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) this includes cover for landlord and third party liabilities
We undertake and maintain full risk assessments of our current shooting opportunities
No-one ever shoots on any land that we lease without following our notification process so that we can provide a single point of contact and level of control for all Association activities
The Association provide regular and proactive pest control services to our landlords. We also provide pest control services to other landlords on an ad-hoc basis as required. See Pest Control Services for more details on this service.
